WA Community rugby celebrates with the Western Force

Sea of Blue Pty Ltd ABN 76 623 508 574 (Western Force) has secured the Rapid Rugby Asia Showcase Series title and the $25,000 winner’s cheque that comes with it (Prize Money).

It is the intention of Western Force to apply the proceeds of the Prize Money for the benefit of RugbyWA affiliated rugby clubs and schools (up to $21,000) and the RugbyRoos regional rugby program (up to $4,000).

Terms and Conditions

  • A promotional voucher does not permit entry into HBF Park, promotional vouchers must be redeemed for entry tickets before the relevant Promotional Game.
  • Vouchers can be redeemed via Ticketmaster online or at HBF Park from the Ticketmaster Box Office locations at all gates from 5:45pm on the relevant Promotional Game day.
  • One (1) Voucher may be redeemed for up to six (6) complimentary tickets to each Promotional Game.
  • Tickets are subject to availability and the seating allocation will be at the discretion of Western Force.
  • Western Force proposes to announce the winners on or before midday Wednesday 26 June 2019, but this is subject to change at the discretion of Western Force acknowledging that there is the potential for delays to occur in obtaining relevant information to determine the winners.
  • Any prize won by a Club must be used for a purpose related to the activities of that Club which are related to rugby.
  • Any prize won by a School must be used for a purpose associated with the development of rugby at the School.
  • Any prizes consisting of cash amounts will be transferred by Western Force into the Club’s account as nominated by the Club to Western Force in writing.
  • Children under 18 using a ticket redeemed from a promotional voucher must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The promotional vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.
  • No refunds will be provided to a person who purchases a ticket to a Promotional Game and also obtains a ticket to that Promotional Game via a promotional voucher.
  • The promotion will run from Monday 13 May to Friday 21 June 2019.
  • Winning Clubs and Schools will be responsible for the collection of their prizes which must be collected on or before Friday 2 August 2019. Any prizes not collected by this date may be reallocated by Western Force in its absolute discretion.
  • A Club with both a junior and senior section will be counted as one Club for the purposes of calculating that Club’s membership base.
  • Neither Western Force nor its officers, employees and contractors will be liable to any person or entity, including a Club or School for any claims, liabilities, suits, losses, expenses, actions, causes of actions, responsibilities or damages incurred by, or made against, any person or entity arising in connection with the promotion described in this document (Loss).
  • By accepting the promotional vouchers, each Club and School: o confirms that it has read and understood and agrees to be bound by this document; and o agrees to the use of its names and images (whether still or broadcast images) which shall be provided by it to Western Force in any material published by Western Force to promote the Promotional Games, the Global Rapid Rugby competition and/or Western Force.
  • Western Force reserves the right to: o cancel this promotion; and o amend, replace or substitute this document (including any of the terms set out herein) in any way in its sole and absolute discretion and without notice.
  • The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Western Australia and any dispute arising under this document will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

 

How you could share in the spoils!

Western Force is scheduled to play Kagifa Samoa and Fijian Latui at HBF Park in Perth as part of the Rapid Rugby Asia Showcase Series on 31 May and 21 June 2019 (Promotion Games). Western Force is proposing to run a complimentary ticket promotion that will provide RugbyWA affiliated clubs and schools with promotional vouchers that can be redeemed for complimentary tickets to the two Promotion Games. The winners of this promotion may share in lucrative prizes. The details of the promotion, including how the winners will be selected, are set out below.

1. Rugby WA Affiliated Club Promotion:

• Each RugbyWA affiliated club (Club) will be provided with an equal number of promotional vouchers.
• The vouchers will include a code that is unique to each Club. This code which will be used to track how many tickets are redeemed to the Promotion Games from the vouchers issued to a Club.
• Each voucher can be redeemed for up to 6 tickets either at the gates to HBF Park on the night of each Promotion Game or via Ticketmaster online before each Promotion Game.
• Western Force will use the following calculation to give each Club a score: Club Score = Total number of tickets redeemed across both of the Promotion Games using that Club’s unique code / Club’s membership base * 100 By way of example, if a Club has 300 members and 250 tickets are issued to the Promotion Games on redemption of vouchers with that Club’s unique code, then the Club would have a score of: 250/300*100 = 83% The membership base for a Club will be determined from the information available on Rugby Explorer.
• The Clubs will be ranked according to their score and the three highest scoring Clubs will be eligible to win the prizes as set out below.

First Place Prizes – $2000 cash – $2000 voucher from RHINO – $1000 of Western Force signed merchandise – $500 voucher from IGA – $500 voucher from Gage Roads Total Prize Value $6000.00
Second Place Prizes – $1000 cash – $1500 voucher from RHINO – $500 of Western Force signed merchandise – $500 voucher from IGA – $500 voucher from Gage Roads Total Prize Value $4000.00
Third Place Prizes – $500 cash – $1000 voucher from RHINO – $500 voucher from IGA Total Prize Value $2000.00

2. RugbyWA Affiliated School Promotion:

• Each RugbyWA affiliated school (School) will be provided with an equal number of promotional vouchers.
• The vouchers will include a code that is unique to each School. This code which will be used to track how many tickets are redeemed to the Promotion Games from the vouchers issued to a School.
• Each voucher can be redeemed for up to 6 tickets either at the gates to HBF Park on the night of each Promotion Game or via Ticketmaster online before each Promotion Game.
• The scoring calculation for Schools is simple – the three Schools which have the greatest number of tickets issued to the Promotion Games on the redemption of vouchers with their unique code will be eligible for the prizes set out below.
