ROUNDs 7 AND 8 LOCATION UPDATE
Due to travel restrictions, border closures and quarantine requirements, the Force is unable to play home games in Perth at this stage.
“We are disappointed that current COVID-19 developments in Australia have forced us to stay on the east coast for the remainder of the Super Rugby AU season”, CEO Mark Evans said.
“The players and everyone at the Western Force want nothing more than to play in Perth for our loyal members and fans. Our team has worked tirelessly to make it happen, and while it is not an option for 2020 Super Rugby AU, I am confident we will be playing again on home soil in front of the Sea Of Blue in the near future.”
As soon as we have confirmation on the venues for our remaining Super Rugby AU ‘home’ matches in Rounds 7 and 8, we will provide an update to our fans and members.
Once Vodafone Super Rugby AU 2020 is finished and we have clarification on the structure of our 2021 season, we will provide current Western Force Reserved and Unreserved seat members with financial options for their 2020 membership balance.
We are fully committed to providing all our current members with priority access to any competition the Western Force participates in during 2021. Our team will update you as soon as we have more information.
Thank you again for your patience and ongoing support of the Western Force!
