Prior and Hodgson join Boundaries 4 Bushfires Charity Match
Western Force skipper Ian Prior and club legend Matt Hodgson are set to test their prowess on the WACA as part of the ‘Boundaries 4 Bushfires’ Charity T20 Cricket Match.
The initiative, developed by former Wildcats Vice Captain Greg Hire, will see some of WA’s biggest stars put the pads on to help raise funds for those directly affected by the recent devastating bushfires across the country.

With former Australian speedster Mitch Johnson set to unleash bounces and beamers left, right and centre, as well as current Scorchers left-armer Jason Behrendorff helping to coach the teams, it’s set to be an action-packed night full of surprises.
Hodgson, who certainly fancies himself with an English Willow in hand, said he’s delighted to get involved.
“It’s a privilege to be given the opportunity to help out the communities, families and individuals impacted by the fires on the East Coast. It was an easy decision once Greg gave me a call.
“To be able to come together and raise funds for such a worthy cause through sport after such a devastating period is brilliant.”

100% of fundraising proceeds from the match will be donated directly to the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities and Wildlife Victoria. Spectators will also have the opportunity to contribute spare change, with proceeds going to the NSW Rural Fire Service and Country Fire Association.
