Coach pleased but more work to be done
Western Force Head Coach Tim Sampson is pleased with his side’s performance in the Force’s thrilling 33-31 National Rugby Championship Round 6 victory over Brisbane City.
Despite securing the club’s first NRC home semi-final, Sampson knows the job is not finished for his side.
“Getting the minor premiership is a good achievement, so we have to perform well to get that minor premiership.”
Ahead of the final round robin fixture against Sydney this weekend, the head coach has confidence in the depth of his playing squad, after a number of injuries were sustained against the Queenslanders.
“We have really good depth here at the club, it’s something we pride ourselves on. We talk a lot about how deep we go in our squad.” Sampson said.
