Definitely the new competition, that’s really exciting! Also, the travel, going to different countries and experiencing them and of course building on the success we have had so far this season.
Earliest rugby memory?
Going to Newlands Stadium in Capetown with my dad to watch Western Province play many moons ago.
Who is your inspiration?
I would have to say, my dad, he has always been there for me and has always supported me through the tough times so he is someone I look up to.
Which position would you play if not the one you currently play?
What’s something not many people know about you? Maybe a secret talent?
I have a witty sense of humour!
Favourite player to watch growing up?
What do you do when you’re not playing rugby?
I spend time with my family and I get into the gym to get ready for the next week!
If you weren’t a professional rugby player you would be?
An Olympic weightlifter.
Toughest opponent to play against?
I think it would be Tendai Mtawarira. The Beast!
Favourite current Force player and why?
This is tough because they will all go for me! I would say Marcel Brache because we started this journey together.
