An Open Letter from the Head Coach to the Sea of Blue
Dear Sea of Blue,
Now that the dust has settled, on behalf of my fellow staff and playing squad, I would sincerely like to thank you all for your ongoing support throughout 2019.
We accomplished a range of goals we set out to achieve this year which is a credit to many people who assisted us along the way. The constant in all the things we achieved on and off the field is the wonderful, aspirational and dedicated people that make up the Western Force.
I thoroughly enjoy my pre and post-game chats when I bump into you along the way and it gives me great joy that our staff and players have given you a year to remember. We frequently discuss the importance of knowing who we play for and ingrain into the players that we must uphold the responsibility of being professional role models for the Western Australian rugby community. The Sea of Blue is regularly discussed in our team meetings prior to a game!
As we enter the 2020 Global Rapid Rugby season, we will be very focused on preparing well for the Round 1 fixture in the middle of March and look forward to seeing the stands packed with supporters proudly wearing the blue, black and gold of the Western Force.
Thank you once again for your support, I hope that it will continue for seasons to come.
On behalf of the staff and players, may this Christmas end your year on a cheerful note and make way for a fresh and bright 2020.
See you in the New Year.
Go the Force,
