Charity Requests

Requests for Charity Support – RugbyWA/Emirates Western Force receives numerous requests for support including player appearances, signed merchandise and match day tickets from a variety of worthy causes. Unfortunately, we are unable to meet every request. However, we will attempt to help where we can in accordance with the following process.

Merchandise Requests – We do not provide cash donations but are in a position to offer merchandise. However, all requests for merchandise must meet the Criteria set out below to qualify. Those requests that qualify are sorted in accordance with their event date, entered into a monthly ballot and three are drawn from each ballot and awarded merchandise (which must be used to raise funds for the cause). If a charity, school, event or community group is awarded a merchandise item, it may not receive a further item until at least 12 months later.

Autographs – Due to the overwhelming number of requests for player autographs, we will not accept, nor take responsibility for, merchandise sent to RugbyWA/Emirates Western Force for signing. These items will be sent back to the owner unsigned. Player signatures can be sought at public training sessions. Please check the website for details.

Game Tickets – We do not provide cash donations but are in a position to offer Super 14 home game tickets. However, all requests for tickets must meet the Criteria set out below to qualify. We have a limited number of tickets available to each home game. Should demand exceed supply, those requests that qualify will be placed in a ballot. During the off season (May-December), requests for the donation of tickets will not be serviced.

Player Appearance Requests – The availability of players for appearances is extremely limited due to their travel, training and playing commitments. Their schedules are often subject to late change. RugbyWA/Emirates Western Force will not be held liable for the cancellation of an approved player appearance, and/or the replacement of an approved player with another player. All requests for a player appearance must meet the Criteria set out below to qualify.
