Richard is the Emirates Western Force’s Mr Perpetual Motion. The man they call ‘Brown dog’ just doesn’t stop! From the Queensland country town of Julia Creek, Brownie can play anywhere in the backrow. In his spare time, Richard likes spear fishing, scuba diving and eating – not always in that order. He’s also been helping the Claremont Colts AFL team develop their tackling skills. One of six players to have represented the Emirates Western Force in all of its Super 14 games in 2007, and one of 14 Force players selected in the Wallabies train-on squad in May, Richard played a key role in the good form of the ET Perth Spirit, picking up Man of the Match honours against the Melbourne Rebels.
