Nick moved to Perth from the Randwick club in Sydney to join the ET Perth Spirit, and wasted little time in making an impact scoring in his first outing, against the Rams. Before heading west, Nick finished the 2007 iRB Sevens World Series as Australia’s top tryscorer and was described by coach Glen Ella as the best Sevens prospect since Matt Giteau. Nick is a product of the St Francis College in Brisbane, where he starred in the swimming pool and on the athletics track, as well as on the rugby field. He represented Queensland Schoolboys in rugby and played NTRA Touch Football for Australia. A real character off the field, Nick has been described by a Sydney newspaper as one of the brightest stars in Australian rugby's ‘Generation Next.’
