Profile
Patrick Dellit is a hard-running utility back who embarks on his third season of Super Rugby. Having plied his trade with Eastern Suburbs as one of the leading players in Sydney’s Shute Shield, Dellit was picked up by the Emirates Western Force for the 2011 season. The 26-year-old made his debut in 2011 against the Lions and earned his first run-on start at fullback in the 27-19 win against the Brumbies. Hampered by a groin injury through 2012, Dellit was periodically sidelined throughout the year but managed four appearances off the bench before starting at outside centre in the side’s final match against the Crusaders. Dellit, who also represented NSW Country during 2012, will provide the Emirates Western Force with many options courtesy of his versatility – being able to play fullback and in the centres.
