Profile

Tetera Faulkner is a supremely strong athlete that continues to forge his way towards regular Super Rugby representation. The Kiwi-born front-rower is a technically outstanding scrummager and proved up to the task against an All Black front row in his first run-on start for the Emirates Western Force against the Crusaders last season. The well-travelled loosehead, whose quiet personality belies his destructive rugby ability, played his junior rugby in Melbourne before linking with the Brumbies and Waratahs Academies, and finding a home at the Emirates Western Force. The former Australian Schoolboys, Under 19 and Under 20 representative initially signed a two-year deal for the 2012 and 2013 Super Rugby seasons but was rushed into the side to make his debut in 2011 due to injuries.
