Profile
Nathan Charles is a mobile, hard-working hooker that has become a permanent fixture in the Emirates Western Force 22-man match day squad over the past three seasons. Charles has been a consistent performer for the Emirates Western Force since being drafted into the squad as injury cover during the 2010 Super Rugby season. Since making his debut against the Stormers two seasons ago, he has not missed a match and was the only Emirates Western Force player to start in every Super Rugby match for the club in 2012. The 23-year-old, who has won four Shute Shield premierships with the Sydney University, has proven to be an outstanding contributor to the Emirates Western Force’s set piece, balanced by a high work rate around the field. Charles, who has represented Australia at schoolboys level and two years with the Under 20’s at the IRB Junior World Championship, was selected for the 2010 Wallabies’ Spring Tour training squad with many pundits believing future Test selection is in store for the talented rake.
