Profile
Towering Toby Lynn returns for his second season with the Emirates Western Force since joining the side from ITM Cup side Waikato for the 2012 season. Regarded as one of the most experienced tight forwards Waikato has produced, Lynn played eight seasons for the county in the National Provincial Championship and three for the Chiefs in Super Rugby before heading across the Tasman. The 27-year-old lock is Australian-eligible through his Perth-born grandfather and will look to back up his impressive debut season with the Western Australian side where he started 14 of his 15 appearances. The bearded tight forward was a consistent performer for his new province, proving a reliable option in the lineout, workmanlike around the field and even crossing for his maiden Super Rugby try against the Brumbies. One of the most consistent performers for the Emirates Western Force in 2012 and winner of the club’s Force Man award, Lynn will be a valuable leader within the WA pack this season.

Plays for Scottish club, Melrose, in the Premiership One competition while on a gap year.
2004
Selected for his first senior provincial squad with the Waikato Chiefs in the National Provincial Championship; makes his debut for Waikato against Northland in Whangerai.
2005
Plays five matches for the New Zealand side that finishes third at the IRB Under 21 Championship in Argentina, defeating France 47-21 in the third/fourth play-off in Mendoza; represents Waikato, who finish seventh in the National Provincial Championship.
2006
Starts off the bench for Waikato in their 37-31 National Provincial Championship final win over Wellington.
2007
Makes his Super Rugby debut for the Chiefs against the Brumbies in Week One; represents Waikato who is eliminated in the quarter-finals of the National Provincial Championship.
2008
Represents the Chiefs who finish seventh during the Super Rugby season; represents Waikato who is eliminated by Hawkes Bay (31-28) in the quarter-finals for a second successive season.
2009
