Profile

Nick Cummins is an outstanding outside back for the Emirates Western Force, who is equally adept at outside centre or on the wing. Cummins was one of the standout performers in the Emirates Western Force backline last season, hitting the line at speed and scoring three tries for his efforts – including a double against the Brumbies in Perth. A favourite with the Emirates Western Force’s ‘Sea of Blue’, Cummins’ game has revolved around genuine pace, determined and direct running, and often brutal defence. The 25-year-old, affectionately known as ‘the Honey Badger’, was rewarded for his consistency when he was selected for the Wallabies’ squad for the inaugural Rugby Championship/Bledisloe Cup and Spring Tour, making his Test debut against Argentina. Cummins, who boasts an excellent ability to finish off a try, accepted a silver medal as part of the Australian Sevens side at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and received the Members MVP Award at the 2012 Emirates Western Force Awards Night.
