Rugby Sevens will make its debut at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil and the Australian Rugby Union is encouraging women to join the ‘Pathway to Gold’ at trials held across the country.
The trials will help identify athletes who haven’t necessarily played rugby before but are fit, coordinated and competitive and display the potential to represent Australia in the Women’s Sevens team.
The Perth trials will be held at McGillivray Oval, Mt Claremont on Sunday 16 September from 9am – 1pm and are open to women aged 16 – 30.
